Our Team

Alexei Durgali
Lawyer, Founder
Alexei has been focused primarily on family law throughout his academic and professional career.
After completing his law degree at the University of Ottawa in 2013, Alexei worked for a small law firm, where he worked with victims of domestic violence and economically disadvantaged families.
Next, he moved to a national law firm, where he was part of a crisis-driven family law practice. His practice involved complex parenting, property, as well as child and spousal support cases in the context of high-conflict litigation and arbitration. Alexei also negotiated domestic contracts and represented clients who chose mediation or arbitration instead of going to court.
Most recently, Alexei worked for a boutique family law practice, where he continued to develop his skills as a litigator, while also acquiring strong alternative resolution skills. He completed training in Collaborative Family Law and worked extensively with clients who sought to resolve their disputes through negotiation and mediation.
In his free time, Alexei explores the great outdoors with his family, practices meditation, and obsessively forages for mushrooms.
